Greensboro Car Accident Kills National Guard Member

A man that spent six years in the Marines and one year in the North Carolina National Guard was killed in a car accident while on his way to a drill in Morrisville. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The 29-year-old man was the only person in his car and no one else was hurt.

The National Guard says Lynch was traveling to a drill at the 130th Aviation Regiment in Morrisville, between Raleigh and Durham. The wreck was reported by Greensboro police.

The victim was a Sergeant in the North Carolina National Guard. His survivors include a daughter, fiancé and mother.
